Aktogay village is a small village located in Makhambet District of Atyrau region. Aktogay rural district includes the settlements of Atambayev, Kenorys, Bala oraz. The village is associated with the creation in 1981 of the State Farm named after the" 60th anniversary of the Kazakh SSR". The reason for the name of Aktogay, according to the elders, may be due to the names of the neighboring villages of yutagan Sarytogai, Koktogai (former name Zeleny).
